About Portree Angling Club:
Portree Angling Association, founded in 1955, supports and promotes angling in the Isle of Skye. Our aims are to acquire fishing in Skye and to make this available to both members and visitors at a reasonable cost. We now have a range of waters that provides fishing to suit all tastes, ranging from small native brown trout in remote mountain lochs to salmon in spate rivers, and including boat or bank fishing on the famous Storr Lochs.
Membership is available to all, whether you live on or off the Isle of Skye.
Every season our 140 members are joined by visiting anglers, many of whom return year after year to enjoy the fishing, scenery and wildlife of north Skye.
The Association is managed by a committee of 12 members, ably led by

Management Committe Members:-
The Club benefits from the support of the staff at Skye and Lochalsh Council for Voluntary Organisations who manage our database compliance responsibilities as well as providing critical secretarial support to the Chairman, Deputy and Treasurer.
We are also very grateful to Marie Loughhead who designed, created and maintains our website presence.
Without the support of all the above members and associates and indeed the wider community of Skye we would not be able to provide the range of fishing available to members and visitors alike.
